Brandy Melville Warehouse Sale 2014

So guys, I actually went to a Brandy Melville warehouse sale last weekend. This blog post is my take on whether it was worth it or not.

Living in the suburbs, I woke up around 4:30 am to get ready and I was in line by the time it was 6. I knew I probably wouldn't be the first group in since girls actually camp out for this sale. Turn's out I was the third group. Get there and stay put because they actually hand out wristbands so people can't cut! I thought this was a great idea, but there were quite a few people that cut before they handed out the wristbands.

I waited exactly 4 hours before it was my group's turn to go in. Upon going in, you get handed a trash bag and you only get 45 minutes. It may seem like a long time. but with 100 people in one room, it could get a little cray haha. I started panicking 20 minutes in because I only had 3 things and I feared that I wasn't going to get anything good.

I tried to get myself to calm down and really started to look until the bottom of the boxes and found some graphics that I wanted. I even found one of those checkered school girl skirts!! I was pretty excited!

Basically, I didn't care how I looked any more. I just threw piles of clothes like a mad woman and I found some stuff that I really liked. I got a lot of flowy tanks that are made of the extremely soft material that brandy has. My favorite rare graphic would be the "your not Alice and this is not Wonderland" shirt.

So in total I got: 7 crop top/ short sleeves, 10 tanks/ spaghetti straps, 4 long sleeves. 1 dress, and 3 bottoms for a grand total of $150.

In the end, I feel like it was worth it because after looking through some posts I realized that I was one of the lucky girls who actually found a lot of good stuff! I kind of wanted to find more skirts, cardigans, and chiyo bralettes, but I really can't complain haha. Maybe next time!

Baby Blue Floral Overalls | Earth Day

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a lovely Easter and for those of you who didn't know....today was actually Earth Day! Personally, I found out on the google homepage :)

I decided to wear this really cute pair of baby blue overalls that I bought from a Reformation sample sale. Reformation is a boutique that carries clothes made from recycled materials. So, basically I'm wearing chic trash :D

I also am in love with the lace crop top from forever 21! It was a steal for only $9 and it's a great staple piece. I hope you all enjoyed this post and I will talk to you guys very soon <3

I can't get over how affordable the lace crop top was!

The floral detailing is truly beautiful

I love how this outfit is comfortable but chic!

OOTD | Floral Tiered Babydoll Dress

Sorry everyone for not posting for awhile, even though I promised to post weekly :( I'm such a hypocrite. I just wanted my blog to look the best it can be and here it is! I'm extremely happy with it and my visions for this blog came true :) Now I have no excuses, so you can count on me again!

Here is a cute outfit that is really easy to throw on. The dress is kind of a brandy melville jada dress dupe except that it has no huge gigantic cut out in the back which I seem to like better. The dress was only $11 and I bought it at Rhapsodielle which is the same company as Fashion Q.

If it's a little chilly throw on a light sweater and some knee-high socks. The one I'm wearing is from Brandy Melville. It's super soft and slouchy which I love!

Classic outfit! I own about 5 of these dresses and plan on buy more *sigh*

You can always tie a knot if you think the sweater is too loose fitting.

Adding a cute bralette underneath is the perfect touch! Need some cute bralettes though :(

I personally like the sweater super slouchy

Brandy Melville Yin-Yang Florals

Hope you have all been well. I just came home from the Clipper's vs. Rockets game. The game was phenomenal! I sat in section 115 which is the section behind the basket. The tickets tend to be cheaper there because it is harder to get an equal perspective of the whole game, but who cares….I'm closer to the sweat of the players than the people who paid $400 for their tickets.

The game was perfect. The food was okay. The people were nice and the funnest part was booing Dwight Howard whenever he got the ball. Anyways, on to my outfit. I decided to go pretty casual since I didn't want to pay for any over-priced Clipper's gear that I was going to wear a couple times in my life. Enjoy and don't forget to comment and follow :) I will be sure to return the favor. Now I will be sleeping to the sound of rain hitting my window pane. Good night everyone. ❤❤❤

Brandy is my life right now. Kind of killing my wallet though :(

I kind of like the tucked in version….(what do you guys think?)

Perfect night to wear a beanie. I had ears on mine but the cameraman cut it out haha.

No editing on the pic. So proud :')

This jacket from Korea kept me warm ❤

My absolute fave for any outfit :)

Urban Outfitters BDG Mid-Rise Cumulus Jeans (aka cloud jeans)

These days there are so many hipster girls all over tumblr and instagram that seem to dress so on trend that it makes the rest of us feel like crap. And after hours of drooling over their super awesome clothing, you finally start to wonder where the heck these 15 years olds are getting all this money to buy their clothes from. Yeah, you're right…probably from their parents. But I know for sure that when I was 15, I felt super guilty for making my parents spend money on me that I always head straight for the sale section. All my clothes were less than $10 and I still remember $12 for a shirt was really pushing it.

Its not like my parents didn't have the money to buy my clothes. I just felt super guilty for making them spend money on me. Heck, they already feed and house me.

Now that I have a steady job, I can finally spend money without feeling the guilt! My most recent splurging adventure was at Urban Outfitters. I bought these super cute BDG cloud jeans. At least they looked like clouds to me… It has 4 zipper compartments. 2 fake pockets and 2 at the ankles. It also has 2 real pockets in the thigh area! How cool is that! And on top of all that, it still has designs on the knees! Coolest jeans that I ever bought. I feel like such a hipster (I know I'm probably far from being one).

After I bought it I searched it up on the UO website and found out that the jeans were actually suppose to be cropped. Well, it must mean that I have shorter legs than the average girl because it fit me perfectly lengthwise. I have wider hips and a smaller waist so I went ahead and bought a size 26. I kind of had to struggle a tiny bit to pull the pants past my butt, but after that the jeans looked pretty good on. The waist was pretty big, but it wasn't overly noticeable. At least my butt will hold them up haha.

In case you were wondering, the jeans were not in the sale section at my local UO store, but somehow they were still on sale. It was originally $79 and I bought them for $39.

So, lesson here today is….know your self worth! If you're really dying to get something and you know for sure it's not an impulse buy, then go for it! You deserve a treat every once in a while. I know that it would've made me a much happier teen if I just told my parents what I wanted! As you can tell, this goes for more than just clothes. Come back for another post on Friday!

 Am I hipster yet?!

 Fyi: Zippers are fake pockets
